04 Sept | Introduction night

11 Sept | (D) | Howard Pratt - Landscape photography. Howard is a commercial photographer and one of Derbyshire's leading landscape photographers specialising with the peak district.


18 Sept | Howard Pratt - Lightroom tutorial. Howard will demonstrate his Lightroom workflow through images seen on the 11th.

25 Sept | (D) | Des Ong - Wildlife photography. Des is a full time nature and wildlife photographer working over many continents. He is a previous finalist in the wildlife photographer of the year.


02 Oct | (AV) | Martin Fry - A retired Gloucestershire Head teacher, Martin has always been inspired by ‘capturing the light’ in his native county and the spectacular Cornish landscape. Martin has gained over 150 awards for both his images and audio-visuals, with acceptances in 34 countries.

09 Oct | Club competition 1 - Open, judge Sue Hartley

16 Oct | (D) | Les Forrester - An Infinity with Monochrome. Les is a previous winner of Black and white photography magazine photographer of the year and 2 times winner of international monochrome grand prix.


23 Oct | Tutorial night

30 Oct | (P) | Ian Pinn - Print Presentation Ian captivated our interest persevering through a power cut in 2015. This time his print presentation may be enjoyed in normal light conditions.


06 Nov | Club competition 2 - Open, judge Martin Lichfield

13 Nov | (D) | Stuart Crump - Long Exposures. Stuart will demonstrate long exposure techniques between 1/4 sec and 4 minutes and the equipment required.


20 Nov | Inter club competition against Worksop, judge Sue Wilson

27 Nov | (D) | Rob Falconer - Digital Lecture. Rob's passion is for landscape photography and steam trains but will also demonstrate his other passion for sport.

08 Jan | (D) | John Gardener - A bit of Everything. John is a professional freelance photographer. He wowed us last time with his use of creative lighting giving fresh creative ideas for portrait photos.


15 Jan | Club competition 4 - Panel of Three, judge David Gibbins

22 Jan | (D) | Andy Colls - The Shark Trust. Rebreather diver Andy travels the world photographing the marine environment and tonight he will share some of the experiences of diving with sharks as well other less daunting creatures of the deep.

19 Mar | (D) | Tim Hudson - No Place for Men. Tim will lead us through his travels in the far north of India.

09 Apr | James Davies - Portrait Tutorial . James returns with his models to demonstrate the best settings for portrait photography and the use of flash.
