EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

This Monday we were treated to a record of two photographic lives. Jim and Fred Price entertained us with a journey through their photography, starting with Jim's first prints, 2 inches square, from his very first camera bought for him when he was twelve. His life in the army was well documented as well as his love of nature and sport.
After they became a couple their lives became enmeshed in many genres of photography including the natural world, portraiture and sport.
Much of their photography has been exhibited at multiple salons, winning numerous honours and awards. They have been supportive and active members of the Camping and Caravanning Club Photogroup for many decades, always trying to encourage new members and further the skills of photography.
It was a pleasure to welcome them to Retford and perhaps we may see them again in the future.
You can find us in St Joseph’s Hall, Babworth Road, Retford at 7.30pm On Monday nights until 8th December 2025 when we break for Christmas.
