We welcomed Ashley Franklin to Retford this week with the second of his presentations, celebrating the work of many notable photographers, both past and present.
Ashley categorised his lecture into many different genres from landscapes to microphotography and from sport to street and we were
treated to a non stop wealth of diverse images.
We were particularly pleased to see the work of Spike Walker showcased as part of the presentation. Spike was an old friend of Retford, always willing to show his quirky microscope images ranging from vitamins to body parts of minuscule creatures!
Ashley will be returning to Retford next season with Part 3 of his work. We will all look forward to welcoming him again.
